Recording Academy Launches ‘Witness Greatness’ Campaign Featuring Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Others: First Look – Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith, Carrie Underwood and The Weeknd will be the faces of a new multi-faceted campaign building buzz around the 2016 Grammy Awards. ‘American Idol’ contestant Tristan McIntosh has shined for years – The next — and final — “American Idol” just might be a high school sophomore who lives in Pleasant View and attends Nashville School for the Arts.
More than hundred fans, friends and family members joined Tristan McIntosh, 15, at The Livery Stables on Jan. 7 to view the first episode of the series finale as McIntosh swayed judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban as she accompanied herself on piano while singing a haunting tender rendering of Mickey Guyton’s “Why Baby Why.” – Read more at the Tennessean
