9-Year-Old Singer Victory Brinker Follows ‘America’s Got Talent’ Run With Christmas EP – Following her breakout run on America’s Got Talent over the summer, 9-year-old singer Victory Brinker is set to release a Christmas EP next week, Billboard can exclusively announce. The Wonder of Christmas — Brinker’s first EP — includes four tracks: “Silent Night,” “O Holy Night,” “Ave Maria” and “Pie Jesu.” “I am so excited that my first record is for Christmas and I can sing songs everyone knows and loves,” the Latrobe, Pennsylvania, singer says in a statement. “I hope it makes everyone happy this Christmas season.” The EP, produced by Daniel Blake and marketed and distributed through Monark Entertainment, will be out on all digital retailers and streaming services Nov. 12. – Read more at Billboard

‘The Masked Singer’ Creator Wonwoo Park Signs First-Look Deal With Fox, Developing U.S. Version Of Korean Talent Format ‘Lotto Singer’ – The Masked Singer creator Wonwoo Park has signed a first-look development deal with Fox Alternative Entertainment and has set his sights on his first project. The producer will develop series with Fox’s unscripted production division for the U.S. and international territories via his Seoul-based production company DiTurn. It comes after Park previously struck a first-look production deal with Universal Television Alternative Studio in 2019. The first project for Fox is a U.S. version of Korean singing competition Lotto Singer. The series sees viewers win cash prizes by betting on contestants’ performances. Created by Park and produced by SBS’ FormatEast, the series launched on MBN in October 2020. – Read more at Deadline

Sofía Vergara to Play Drug Queenpin Griselda Blanco in Netflix Limited Series – Sofía Vergara is set to star in a Netflix limited series about notorious drug trafficker Griselda Blanco, Variety has learned. Titled “Griselda,” the series chronicles the real life of savvy and ambitious Colombian business woman who created one of the most profitable drug cartels in history. A devoted mother, Blanco’s lethal blend of charm and unsuspecting savagery helped her expertly navigate between family and business leading her to become widely known as the Black Widow and the Cocaine Godmother. A bunch of American Idol alums got together in Mexico

It tooks to be some sort of combo vacation/residency. American Idol alums: Blake Lewis, Candice Glover, Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams, Nick Fradiani, Ace Young, Diana Degarmo, Brandon Rogers and The Voice’s Gwen Sebastian. Gwen Sebastian posted a photo HERE.

The group performed at The Hard Rock Los Cabos in Mexico on October 25 and 26 according to this post from Gwen.
