Adam Lambert to Open GLAAD Media Awards in New York – Adam Lambert will perform at the 31st annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York. Honoring media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues, the event takes place on March 19th at the Hilton Midtown in New York. This year, Lambert is nominated for Outstanding Music Artist for 2019’s Velvet: Side A EP. Jennifer Hudson to Sing Kobe Bryant Tribute, Lil Wayne and Quavo to Perform at NBA All-Star Game – The NBA today announced that Jennifer Hudson will perform a special tribute to the late Kobe Bryant at the All-Star Game on Sunday at Chicago’s United Center. ?The tribute will also honor Bryant’s daughter Gianna and seven others who died with them in a helicopter crash on Feb. 26. The Masked Singer is Going on Tour – From the official website: “Your favorite characters from the hit Fox TV show brought to life live on stage, as well as surprise celebrity hosts and amazing new performances. Can you guess who’s behind the mask? A mystery celebrity will be unmasked in every city in this can’t-miss spectacular live show for audiences of all ages!” There will be two celebrity hosts that appeared as Masked Singers in the hit TV show. These hosts will be announced at a later date. None of the TV show panelists or other performers are currently scheduled to be present. Tickets are on sale now. CHD, which impacts 40,000 newborns in the United States per year, results when the heart, or blood vessels near the heart, don’t develop normally before birth. Prior to the 7 p.m. CT matchup between the Predators and Islanders, joined by two young CHD patients, country music super star Luke Bryan will perform the National Anthem. When Luke and his wife Caroline Boyer Bryan lost their niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, to complications of CHD in 2017, they came together with Brett’s parents, Ellen and Bo Boyer, to create The Brett Boyer Foundation in her honor.
