The practice was arranged so the “For A Boy” singer could get in some early training prior to the 26th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Game scheduled for June 7. Shelbie Z: The Voice of the American Southern Girl – For Shelbie Zora James Panter, better known as Shelbie Z, being on stage in front of thousands is reminiscent to her time doing pageants. But instead of a tiara, she was feigning for something much bigger, the title of American Idol. The last American Idol. She had made it to the top 24, and had just belted a rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” with Idol alum Constantine Maroulis the night before. Things were looking good. For Z, getting this far was a blessing. But as she stood next to the two other contestants up for elimination, her pageant instincts started to kick in. Dancing with the Stars’ Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd on the Tears You Didn’t See on This Week’s Episode – It was a stressful rehearsal process for the couple, who were preparing for the deaf model to dance with a blindfold on the ABC reality dance competition. “I was just frustrated with myself because the blindfold wouldn’t work,” Murgatroyd told PEOPLE at Mixology in Los Angeles after Monday’s episode. “We changed the way it was built a couple of times and it wasn’t working the way it was supposed to.
