It was MTV day at the Television Critics Association press tour going on now in LA, and American Idol season 9 alum, Todrick Hall was on hand to chat about his upcoming show for the network, Todrick. He made it clear that he wasn’t coming off of Youtube now that he has his own show. “To be really clear: I’m not coming off YouTube,” he said. “That was something we discussed before anything else. I called [my producer] and said, ‘I don’t want to come off YouTube. That would make me lose my street cred,’ ” “Everyone who has supported me on YouTube needs to see me as YouTuber,” he added. “I’m very proud of the fact that I was able to make my own brand online … and MTV understood how important that was.” Todrick’s show will document him and his crew filming his viral Youtube videos, but you’ll have to head over to his channel to watch them. Beyoncé Offered Role in NBC’s ‘The Wiz’: Report – According to reports, Beyoncé has been offered a role in NBC’s upcoming production of The Wiz as Glinda the Good Witch. Orange is the New Black star Uzo Aduba is reportedly also being considered for the part. Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah are signed on to play the Wicked Witch of the West Evillene and the Wizard, respectively. The live production will be broadcast on NBC Dec 3. – Read more at Billboard
