Taylor Hicks on Chicago Faves, His New Music & Why He Thinks Illinois’ Food is Among the Best in the Nation – What can fans expect from your upcoming performance in Chicago? TAYLOR HICKS: I’ve had an amazing run of City Wineries this year. It’s a really cool food and music concept. And what I’ve done is I’ve created a really intimate, acoustic show where it’s just a couple of guitars and me. As many bigger venues as I’ve played, this particular tour has been mostly small, intimate venues to try out new music and to give my fans a different look. It has been so band-oriented and big production; this is just the opposite of that and I’ve really enjoyed doing it. It’s a very up-close-and-personal show. – Read more at MichiganAveMag

Bo Bice talks Blood, Sweat and Tears, Life after Idol and Gregg Allman – 2. One of my fav songs of yours is “Changing for the Better”! Are you still writing and have any plans to record solo? Thank you Vicky. Yes ma’am I’m still writing and recording solo music. I’ve stayed busy both doing painting/photo and writing for myself with other writers for TV, Radio, and other artist projects. I’m also recording a song with my friend and fellow A.I. Alumni Jessica Muse. I’ll soon be putting out some new Art/Paintings/Photos that reflect our last 3+ years on our world tour. It’s been an amazing, educational ride with my BS&T brothers and their influence shines through in different mediums. Being around people who drive you creatively does inspire you to do your best, iron sharpens iron. Being on stage with the best of the best each night is such a treat, I have the best seat in the house. There’s a kindred spirit in music that we all share and it shows in the performances each night that we love this catalog of music. – Read more at Sarasota Post
