With yesterday being a holiday, we did not get any partial updates from HDD. So we shall have to look at their “weakend” estimates. John Mayer has an unquestionable 1st place this week selling almost 4 times Adele at number 2. Idol’s Carrie Underwood is staying strong at 3rd and Lionel is showing remarkable legs at 4th. X-Factor’s One Direction keeps selling easily within the top 10. Now 42 (featuring Idol’s Kelly Clarkson and XF’s 1D), the Glee Cast and Idol’s Adam Lambert are battling it out for top 10 in the 9-11 positions. Idol’s Haley Reinhart is set to debut in the top 15 and Idol’s Kris Allen was earlier predicted to possibly be in the top 20. If he manages it, that would give Idol/XF 5 albums in the top 20 (25%!). Go reality show contestants!
