With 54.02% of the market reporting in, Adele is currently back to topping the HDD charts. Eric Church who generated a lot of “Who?”s last week has a strong follow-up week to currently being sitting in second. Trace Adkins, Mat Kearney and some Nikelodian soundtrack are all debuting in the top 10 at 3rd, 5th and 7th respectively.
Those not in prime number positions in the top 10 are Jason Aldean (featuring a duet with Kelly Clarkson which has crossed over to Pop, HAC and AC) at 4th, Kidz Bop bopping around in 6th, Beyonce at double her album name at 8th, The Voice judge Blake Shelton at 9th and Now 38 now at 10th.
There are no solo Idols in the top 50 (although that happened with the first day sales with Scotty last week and then he ended up in the top 25th when the final numbers came in). In addition to Kelly’s duet, Carrie appears on two tracks of albums in the top 50. Carrie duets with Brad Paisley on his album currently at 15th while she her track “Undo It” appears on Now Country 4 which is at 25th.
Jackie from AGT is at 19 with her second album (her first album was an EP) while former AI judge Ellen’s prodege Grayson Chance is debuting at 28th.
