This is pretty cool, and unexpected! Haley Reinhart has just announced a new gig. She’ll be using her voice…but not to sing!
The American Idol season 10 alum revealed on instagram that she’s starring in a Netflix animated series, F is for Family, produced by comedian, Bill Burr, Vince Vaughn (Swingers) Peter Billingsley (A Christmas Story) and Michael Price!

Voice over work for Haley! And she’s playing a young boy. Move over Yeardly Smith! Ha ha. As she posts, the series will debut on Netflix in 2015. Lucky for me, I subscribe. I’ll be watching F is for Family in between views of my fav, Orange is the New Black!
Congrats Haley on your fabulous new job! The best part? No hair and makeup!
By the way…Peter Billingsley played Ralphie in the original A Christmas Story movie. He also produced the recent Broadway musical based on the movie (which, in turn, was based on stories by Jean Shepherd).
