Jordin Sparks told John Jay and Rich all about her Grammy experience on their Phoenix morning radio show Monday. She and Chris Brown lost in the Best Pop Collaboration category for their duet “No Air”, but it sound like she had fun anyway.
Lucky girl–she and her mom sat behind Paul McCartney and his date, and even managed to get her picture taken with him.
Best New Artist, Adele, stopped Jordin to tell her that she just loved her on Idol and John Mayer wants to practice with her before their gig on the VH1 Save the Music Cruise in March.
Right now, she’s in LA writing and recording her next album, but in a few days she’ll be heading to Orlando to hang out with other Idols like David Cook, Carrie Underwood and David Archuleta for the pre-opening of the American Idol Attraction at Walt Disney World on Thursday.
After, she heads back to Phoenix to sing the National Anthem at the NBA All Star Game on Sunday. On February 20th, she plays the Mix-it-Up Variety show with the Rhythm Ryders at the Shrine Auditorium in Phoenix.
Listen to her interview below. The DJs ask her everything they can about the Grammys, but not about her “No Air” duet partner, Chris Brown’s, domestic troubles…
She’s now a member of the recording academy and she did vote…but she didn’t say for whom.
