Can Gordon Ramsay turn Kelly Clarkson and DWTS pro Cheryl Burke into a Next Level Chef? In this boot camp demo, they race to make Gordon’s shrimp scampi recipe in under five minutes.
Things get messy, chaos ensues, and Gordon has only one thing to say: “You ladies are a nightmare!” And not only that, short of calling both ladies an “idiot sandwich.” Gordon yells at them, employing plenty of swearing.
Is it their inability to flip food without the contents of the pan ending up all over the counter that brings out Gordon’s outside voice? The tossing the wrong ingredients in the wrong pan? Or Kelly flat eating the pasta right out of the pan just as she’s completed her task?
At one point, Kelly is so frazzled, she grabed the booze bottle off of Gordon’s desk and took a big swig. It’s pretty hilarious.
“First of all, you’re going down to the basement,” Gordon chastised Kelly as she slurped her noodles. That’s referring to Gordon’s new FOX cooking show, which is set on a three stories high set, a gauntlet of kitchens from terrible to incredible, that contestants must run.
“I worked hard for this!” Kelly exclaimed about the dish. “It’s actually really good!”
Kelly added, “You actually scare the s— out of me!”
