UPDATE: Congrats to Glee: The show won Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical. Unfortunately, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch (Grrr!) were shut out of their acting noms, there is always next year. (Jane Lynch should have won in her category. Grrr.)
The entire cast took the stage, while producer Ryan Murphy dedicated the win to unpopular kids everywhere…
I’m not going to live blog the Golden Globes, but just in case some of you want to chat Globes, here’s a post.
Glee, a show we cover here, is up for 4 Golden Globes: Best Television Series, Comedy or Musical, a Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series Comedy or Musical nom for Lea Michele, a Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series Comedy or Musical nom for Matthew Morrison and a Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television nom for Jane Lynch.
How mean is Glee producer Ryan Murphy? Kristin from E Online just tweeted, “Lea Michele told me #Glee girls shooting Madonna episode at 6 am tomorrow. Those producers are ruthless in their pursuit of awesomeness.”
I’ll update with photos and Glee results later…
UPDATE: Ha! Cory Monteith just tweeted THIS.
- Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy or a Musical for United States of Tara, over Lea Michele. Awe, maybe next year Lea!
- Alec Baldwin won Best Actor in a Comedy or a Musical for 30 Rock over Matthew Morrison. Eh. He’s won before!
