Glee star newbies, Melissa Benoist (Marley), 24, and Blake Jenner, 20, (Ryder) are ENGAGED according to reports.
Blake confirmed they were an item just a few months ago, when Blake, during a twitter chat with ET Canada, was asked by a fan if the duo were an item off screen. Blake answered the fan with a simple “yup” and a smiley face.
Reps for both actors declined to comment.
Blake competed in and won the Glee Project last summer, which earned him an arc on Season 4. He plays Ryder Lynn, the dyslexic football player who eventually joins the Glee club. After several characters graduated, Melissa was one of several actors cast to help fill the empty seats in the choir room. Her character, Marley Rose, as the daughter of an obese single mom, struggled with her own body issues, developing an eating disorder.
The characters almost became a thing on the show, before bad boy Jake (Jacob Artist) won Marley’s heart.
The actor’s storylines went so well this year, they were promoted to season regulars and will definitely be sticking around for season 5.
Melissa and Blake aren’t the only Glee real life couple. Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, who play on again off again couple Rachel and Finn are very much on as a couple in real life.
