Glee executive producer Ryan Murphy was on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS fm radio show this morning to promote the producer/director’s new movie, Eat Pray Love with Julia Roberts.
But of course, Murphy slipped a few Glee spoilers into the discussion:
- Britney Spears will appear in the Glee Britney-themed episode!
- In the episode, a few of the kids have Britney dreams while under dental anesthesia. Sounds weird? John Stamos will play the dentist and love interest of Jayma Mays’ (Emma) character.
- Murphy confirms Carol Burnett will play Jane Lynch’s (Sue Sylvester) Nazi-hunting mother.
- Paul Mcartney songs will be performed on Glee! Hooray!
- Matt Morrison will NOT be shaving his head for the Britney episode. Murphy wanted the episode to be reverential, rather than mocking Brit-brit’s past.
- There’s no Michael Jackson episode scheduled yet. Murphy’s dream episodes: Prince, Beatles and Michael Jackson. One of the three will be done for the big Superbowl episode in January.
Mark Salling (Puck) debuted his new song, “Higher Power” on Ryan’s show this morning. It’s from his upcoming album Pipe Dreams, to be released on 10/12. Listen to the track HERE.
