This week’s Glee, titled “What The World Needs Now” is a tribute to the the incredible songwriter, Burt Bacharach.
There are eight great songs featured, each one covering a different aspect of love. The plot revolves around Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris) as they reveal their engagement to family members. Santana’s grandmother had disowned her when she came out, and they haven’t spoken since. Brittany learns who her real father is from her mom (Jennifer Coolidge) and dad (Ken Jeong).
Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Rachel (Lea Michele) take their relationship to a new level WITHOUT hypnosis. Artie is back to help Brittana plan their wedding.

And Mercedes (Amber Riley) has returned to serve as mentor to the Glee club as they tackle the songs of Burt Bacharach! Speaking of which. Rachel needs some cheering up, and singing a retro love song dressed in pink sparkly gowns couldn’t hurt!
