Still harboring an unrequited crush on the school superintendent, Sue enlists New Directions to help his precocious and talented 13 year old nephew, Myron, prepare an elaborate musical number for his Bar Mitzvah. Will and Rachel jump at the opportunity, viewing it as an opportunity to prepare the club for the upcoming sectionals competition.

In the meantime, Roderick and Spencer, an unlikely pairing, turn out to have something in common. Each has a problem the other can help solve. Roderick needs help losing weight, which the fit athlete knows something about. Spencer has a crush on Roderick’s bookish lab partner, who is wholly unimpressed with the gay jock. Twin cheerleader, Mason, has problems of his own. His attempts to flirt with fellow newbie clubber, Jane, are constantly being thwarted by his domineering twin sister.
The new kids sing lead on most of the songs this week, and I ain’t mad. Child Star, Myron, leads on “Lose My Breath,” and he’s surprisingly good! This week’s episode sounds like it will be full of fun, choreographed numbers, which I love. And sparkles. Can’t go wrong with sparkles! Listen to all the songs below.
