Glee Season 4 Spoilers: Ryan Murphy Spills on Twitter

GLEE: Blaine (Darren Criss, R) gives Kurt (Chris Colfer, L) a gift in the "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, Dec. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2011 Fox Broadcasting Co. Cr: Adam Rose/FOX

Glee co-creator, Ryan Murphy, has been on twitter less than 24 hours and he’s already starting controversy.

During a twitter Q&A with Glee fans, Ryan revealed that writers were working an episode called “The Breakup”. OH NOES. Which beloved couple could be calling it quits? He might have given the answer away when he also revealed that Sam (Chord Overstreet) would find a new girlfriend and not remain with the Los Angeles-bound Mercedes (Amber Riley).

More spoilers: The first big New Directions group number will be Adele’s “Chasing Pavements.” There will be a BIG 2 part Thanksgiving special built around sectionals. I’m guessing the entire gang will be back in Lima for that one.

Oh and if we Gleeks can get Ryan to 500,000 followers, he’ll release the elusive Klaine “Box Scene”.  Ugh. I just find that really jerky. Why couldn’t the scene be released on the DVD or to You Tube? Why attach strings?  He’s only got about 69,000 followers as I write this.  So good luck with that, Klainers.

ETA: One more tweet from Ryan revealing that Vogue editor, Anna Winatour will help with Sarah Jessica Parker’s wardrobe.

Here’s the entire Q&A with my commentary!

I wonder if she’ll help dress Kurt too…

It’s nice to know Brittany is killing it after the poor thing flunked her senior year. Seriously, I expect Heather Morris to be the best thing about the Brittany Spears episode, set to air the week after the premiere.

That’s not a terrible idea. “Rumors” was a great episode. Tribute episodes are fantastic when the writers can successfully tie the songs to character development and story lines.  The Whitney tribute “Dance With Somebody” is another great example. It’s one of my favorites.

Uh oh. Samcedes shippers….NOW OFFICIALLY IN MOURNING.

Again. I find this move totally asshatty.  Producers posted the production stills and then cut the scene. When the fans became upset, it should have been made available.  Why not keep the fans happy? Now Ryan is just dangling it like a carrot with strings attached. TROLL MURPHY.

I REALLY NEEDED TO KNOW THAT. Not really. Sarah Jessica Parker IS set to do a makeover on Rachel (Lea Michele) as well as mentor Kurt (Chris Colfer) at Vogue.com.  Actually, I hope all the graduating seniors get a different look this year.  Kids change a lot that freshman year in college. I know I did.

The Catharine Zeta-Jones pick is REALLY unpopular amongst some Blaine fans who feel Ryan should honor Darren Criss’ Pinoy heritage. Lea Solonga is a fan favorite. I have to admit I’m not partial one way or another.

So now, I’m thinking there will be no Will/Emma wedding before Christmas. Matt Morrison has been hinting as much in recent interviews.  I would expect that every graduated senior who can will be back for this episode.

DUN DUN DUN!  Of course Ryan is looking forward to it, because there’s nothing he likes more than breaking up couples!   The kids are constantly breaking apart and re-coupling. Ryan could be referring to Sam and Mercedes (see previous tweet). But if it’s not them, my money is on one of the gay couples.  Both Klaine and Brittana have been stable through their entire respective relationships. Now that the couples are doing the long distance thing thanks to the graduations of Kurt and Santana (Naya Rivera), it’s time to cause some trouble. Darren Criss and Chris Colfer have been literally lobbying in interviews for a shake up, so don’t be surprised if Klaine goes splitsville.

I would not be opposed to this.

Despite promises that Kurt will triumph (“He’s going to rule the school!” Ryan said at the beginning of Season 2. “Kurt will get a lighter storyline,” producers promised before the start of Season 3) it never happens.  So I would not bet the house on this one.  I was pretty pissed–as pissed as I can get about the fate of a fictional character–when Kurt failed to get into NYADA. Chris Colfer has also expressed hopes that Kurt would finally find some happiness this season. He’s a little bummed that those gold lame pants were all for naught.

I love Adele…but she’s played out.
