Glee Season 3 Spoilers! Cast Members Reveal What to Expect + Photos

Glee Season 3 is officially in production, and along with a couple of new casting announcements, we’ve got a spoiler or two to share with you. (FNL alum to play Mercedes love interest, American Dreams actress cast as Mean Girl):

  • Sue Sylvester will continue her campaign for Congress on the Sue Sylvester American Liberty Ticket, says Jane Lynch.  She’s going to be more right wing than Michele Bachmann. Oh. I smell some jokes at the expense of the tea party… (Via THR)
  • Lea Michele says her character, Rachel Berry,   will continue to be obsessed with Broadway (the better to prepare for that spin off that’s not going to happen? *wink*).  Rachel will be in the school musical and she has some awesome story lines with Darren Criss (Blaine) and Chris Colfer (Kurt). (Via THR)
  • Naya Rivera says her closeted character, Santana, “…might have made some adjustments to her life” over the summer.  Naya hopes that Santana will end up coming to terms with her sexuality before she graduates. (She is assuming that she’s a senior). (Via THR)
  • Dianna Agron’s Quinn “gets in touch with her inner bad girl” in the 1st episode. In fact, Iqbal Theba, who plays principal Figgins tweeted today, “First person I hugged on the set on 1st day of work.. @DiannaAgron she wore a completely diff outfit than what we’re used 2 seeing her in.” (TVLine)
  • Several castmembers are taking a crash course in tap-dancing to prepare for the 1st episode. (!!!) (TVLine)
  • Heather Morris reveals that “Brittany wants Artie (Kevin McHale) back” and she thinks that “Brittana” (Brittany + Santana) are probably over for good, although the writers may play with it a little more. (TVLine)

Here’s Dianna Agron on set. I had no idea pink hair = bad girl. Hm.

  • Celebuzz has more photos of the actors getting ready to shoot. The costuming is fabulous as always.

Chris Colfer looking very staid…but swell!

Love the way they style Lea Michele

What would you like to see in the new Season of Glee? I’m hoping for the Return of Snark. But with the show taking itself so seriously these days, I’m not holding my breath.
