Glee Celebrates Its 100th Episode with Fan Voted Song Remixes

GLEE: Rachel (Lea Michele, R) performs with Artie (Kevin McHale, L), Kurt (Chris Colfer, second from L), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz, third from L), Mercedes (Amber Riley, fourth from L) and Finn (Cory Monteith, fifth from L) in the "Sweet Dreams" episode of GLEE airing Thursday, April 18 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. ©2013 Fox Broadcasting Co. Beginning today, Glee fans can vote from a list of 30  iconic Glee songs. The top 10 winning tunes will be performed in a special episode, airing March 18, celebrating the musical comedy’s 100th episode.

As the seniors prepare to graduate, they will look back at memorable moments. I’m guessing this is where the re-imagined performances come in. What stinks, though, is the songs will be sung by the current New Directions. So, look forward to Blaine and Sam singing “Defying Gravity,” or Marley singing “Take a Bow.” UGH.

By my calculations, it’s Episode 12.  Checking out the list, the majority of the songs come from season 1 and 2. Which Glee songs are your favorites? Or want to see ruined by the newbies.

Check out the press release below.
