Would you like to determine who stays, who goes and who WINS America’s Got Talent: The Champions season 2? If so, apply to be a member of the competitive reality series’ Superfan Voting Panel! The show is looking for people from all over the country to attend AGT: The Champions tapings set to take place in October 2019.

Fans can apply at AGTChampions.com

America’s Got Talent: The Champions has no live shows. There are no live viewer votes. The winner is determined by a panel of “Superfans” from “all 50 states” that vote as the show is filmed. Read on to find out how to apply for a spot on the panel.

From the website:

AGT Champions is returning for a second season and we’re giving you the opportunity to sign up as an AGT Superfan and take part in voting.

The diverse panel of AGT superfans will help determine who moves on and ultimately wins in the competition. The voting is not open to the public, just to this select panel of fans.

The tapings will take part in October at the Pasadena Civic Center between approximately 4pm and 10pm (subject to change at Producer discretion). You must be in the Los Angeles area at that time, and be available for the full taping day. Parking will be provided. You must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate.

Please note: Applying to participate does not guarantee your participation in this live vote. All participants will be selected in Producer’s discretion.

Check out the taping schedule:

Thursday, October 3rd
Sunday, October 6th
Thursday, October 10th
Saturday, October 12th
Tuesday, October 15th
Friday, October 18th

I went through the application. To start off the process, would be Superfans need to enter their date of birth. A new page opens for applicants to fill in their name, gender and age range. The powers that be also want to know WHY  the applicant wants to be on the Superfan voting panel.

If you recall from season 1, Terry always referred to the “voters from all 50 states” which seemed odd and nebulous at the time. Interestingly, the show asks in which state the applicant currently resides, but also wants to know the state “where you are originally from/ most identify with.”

So lets say they chose me (THEY WOULDN’T OF COURSE. THAT NDA HAS TO BE A BILLION PAGES LONG. NO BLOGGERS ALLOWED) would they put me on the Massachusetts panel? I have lived in Boston for 30 years. Or would I land on the Pennsylvania panel, I grew up? If I said I identified with Alaska due to my extreme love of Polar bears, would I end up on that panel? The question seems to give producers leeway to fill in where the need is.

I suspect the panel will be filled with Los Angeles residents who grew up in other states. America’s Got Talent: The Champions returns to NBC midseason 2020.
