Fifth Harmony Rumored to be Plotting a Reunion

Could this be true? X Factor USA girl group Fifth Harmony is reportedly in talks to reunite.

Six years after they announced a hiatus, Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke and Dinah Jane are looking to reunite. And interestingly, Camila Cabello who found success after quitting the group in 2016 under acrimonious circumstances is also part of the “early conversations” according to Page Six.

Reportedly, Fifth Harmony began considering recording a new song after their past hits including “All in My Head (Flex)” started going viral on TikTok recently.

Per the outlet’s sources, the possible reunion would not interfere with the releases of Normani and Camila’s upcoming solo albums, as it would be an “entirely separate project.”

Reps for all five didn’t respond to Page Six’s requests for comment. The “proof” of this maybe reunion seems pretty slim. Page six points to “sources” and fan rumors, and how the singers are seemingly chummier than they have been in the past.

Sources and Fan Fueled speculation

Rumors of a reunion first began swirling on social media last year after Ally revealed on the “Zach Sang Show” that she, Normani, Lauren, and Dinah had taken ownership of the group’s trademark again. At the time, Camila was not included in the partnership.

The rumors were so persistent, that Ally needed to clarify on social media that that there was “no official band reunion happening at the moment,” but “some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way.”

Page SIx points out that Camila, Lauren, Ally and Dinah all left supportive comments on Normanie’s Instagram post last month announcing her debut album, Dopamine.

After leaving X Factor USA season 2 in third place in 2012, the group, put together on the show by Simon Cowell, released hits such as “Work From Home” and “Worth It.”

After four years and two albums, Camila left the group. The four remaining members went on to release one more album in 2017 before splitting the following year to pursue solo careers.
