Matt’s a working guy’a welder’with a family, who has always had a dream to sing. Definitely NOT a plant. His wife encouraged him to try out–reminiscent of Chris Daughtry’s audition. In fact, it’s Daughtry playing in the background during his audition.
Dude got a decent voice, kinda gruff and soulful, but he’ll have to do much more to stand out from the pack.
