Father John Misty SNL Performances: ‘Total Entertainment Forever’ ‘Pure Comedy’ (VIDEO)

Father John Misty SNL

This week’s Saturday Night Live musical guest, Father John Misty, should ring a bell for The Voice fans. Last fall, Misty left several snarky Facebook posts after Team Miley Cyrus member, Aaron Gibson covered the singer’s “Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings.” In his initial post, Misty posted a link to Aaron’s cover and asked “Why God Why?” I mean, geez. He didn’t have to clear the song in the first place, right?

For those of you who are fans, or curious about the guy (real name Joshua Tillman) who dissed a The Voice contestant on social media, check out the performances below.  On the Octavia Spencer hosted episode, the singer performed  “Total Entertainment Forever” and “Pure Comedy.” Both tracks are from his upcoming album Pure Comedy set to be released in April.
