DWTS 27 Week 2 Spoilers – Dance Styles, Song Choices, Guest Stars

Dancing with the Stars Week 2 features TWO full nights of dancing, plus an elimination on Tuesday. Guest stars include former DWTS champ Donny Osmond, Boyz II Men and more. Check out all the details including dance styles and song choices below.

“New York City Night” – The 12 remaining couples will dance to iconic songs from the city that never sleeps, as New York City Night comes to Dancing with the Stars, live, MONDAY, OCT. 1 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC streaming and on demand.

The night begins with an opening number featuring the Dancing with the Stars pros and New York City Ballet principal dancer Tiler Peck dancing to the iconic song “On Broadway,” choreographed by the show’s own Mandy Moore. Also, Sarah Bockel, who is currently starring in the National Tour of the  musical Beautiful: The Carole King Musical as Carole King, will perform live in the ballroom alongside Mary Lou and Sasha.

There will not be an elimination at the end of the night, but the judges’ scores and viewer votes from New York City Night will factor into the elimination of one couple on Tuesday’s show.

Each couple will dance to the following songs (in alphabetical order):

  • Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten – Argentine Tango – “Swan Lake” by Ray Chew Live
  • Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess – Foxtrot – “Theme from New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra
  • Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev – Cha Cha – “Welcome to New York” by Taylor Swift
  • DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold – Foxtrot – “Boy from New York City” by The Manhattan Transfer
  • Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe – Samba – “Can’t Touch It” by Ricki-Lee
  • Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile and Jenna Johnson – Foxtrot – “New York State of Mind” by Matt Beilis
  • John Schneider and Emma Slater – Charleston – “New York’s My Home” by Sammy Davis Jr.
  • Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke – Quickstep – “42nd Street” by Cherry Poppin’ Daddies
  • Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber – Waltz – “A Natural Woman” – live performance by Sarah Bockel from the Broadway show “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical”
  • Milo Manheim and Witney Carson – Charleston – “Living in New York City” by Robin Thicke
  • Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy – Cha Cha – “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel
  • Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong – Argentine Tango – “New Dorp. New York” by SBTRKT featuring Ezra Koenig

“Las Vegas Night” – After taking in the music and culture of New York City on last night’s show, the 12 remaining couples will take a gamble on dancing to some of the city’s most iconic songs as Las Vegas Night comes to Dancing with the Stars live TUESDAY, OCT. 2 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on ABC  streaming and on demand. 

The dazzling opening number will feature the Dancing with the Stars pros and Vegas mainstays Blue Man Group performing to “Jackpot.” In addition, the creative collective from Blue Man Group’s performances will include two iconic pieces adapted from their nightly show at Luxor Hotel and Casino. The Blue Men’s performances will include “Electronic Drumbone,” an exciting and tubular percussion piece using a custom-built instrument, along with “Drum Finale Throw Down,” the tribal and colorful drumming performance for which the Blue Men are famous.

Additionally, Boyz II Men will perform “Ladies Man” alongside DeMarcus and Lindsay, and Dancing with the Stars season nine champion Donny Osmond will serenade Danelle and Artem as he performs “Luck Be a Lady” alongside their dance.

There will be an elimination at the end of the night.

  • Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile and Jenna Johnson – Jazz – “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers
  • John Schneider and Emma Slater – Jive – “King Creole” by Elvis Presley
  • Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke – Foxtrot – “Why Don’t You Do Right?” by Peggy Lee
  • Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber – Samba – “Copacabana (At the Copa)” by Barry Manilow
  • Milo Manheim and Witney Carson – Tango – “Ashes” by Celine Dion
  • Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy – Paso Doblé – “Storm from KÀ” by Cirque du Soleil
  • Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong – Cha Cha – “Circus” by Britney Spears

Hosted by two-time Emmy-winning host Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews, Dancing with the Stars is t judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including head judge, Len Goodman, and dancers/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
