This week’s (10/16) NBC Saturday Night Live cold open took on the second presidential debate which Anderson Cooper (Alex Moffat) and Martha Raddatz (Cecily Strong) introduce as “worst ever presidential debate.”
In it, Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin) and Hillary Clinton (Kate McKinnon) take questions from undecided voters (Leslie Jones, Beck Bennett, Michael Che, Bobby Moynihan, Kyle Mooney).
Again, just like the first debate cold open on the SNL premiere illustrated, these Presidential Debates have proven to be a thing that can’t really be satirized.
While most folks laughed along with the skit, a certain someone was up early this morning whining about the meanies at SNL. Donald Trump is all about the name calling and sarcasm unless it’s directed at himself. #thinskinned.
