Earlier this week, Jennifer Hudson got a big surprise when Diana Ross called her onstage to perform during her concert. The legendary former Supreme invited the singer onstage during her show Wednesday night, which took place in Jennifer’s hometown, Chicago at the Chicago Theater.
The American Idol alum and The Voice coach wrote about the experience on Instagram: ” Still Got Me in shock! I did not see this coming! On tonight I went to see @dianaross in concert, at best I wanted a picture. So I surely didn’t expect or believe it when they told me @dianaross want you to come to the stage!” The singer added, “If @dianaross say for u to come to the stage , u come to the stage,” Jennifer wrote.
The two divas belted out “Endless Love,” the 1981 hit Miss Ross originally sang with American Idol judge Lionel Richie. Ross kiddingly chided JHud for not attending her recent 75th (!!!) birthday party. “Beyonce was there!” she teased. FYI: Jennifer doesn’t know all the words, but she gives it a go.

Afterward, Jennifer Instagramed the moment she stepped on stage.
“To think all I wanted was a picture and ended up living a dream!” Jennifer wrote. “@dianaross blew me away tonight!”
And later, still jazzed, Jennifer croons a little of the Supremes classic “Stop in the Name of Love” with a few photos from the concert. “Ok now how am I suppose to calm down after this moment ! @dianaross concert,” she wrote.
