Demi Lovato on SNL: Cool for the Summer/Confident & Stone Cold – VIDEO
Pop star, Demi Lovato, performed two songs from her latest album, Confident, as musical guest on Saturday Night Live (10/17). The singer also appeared in a skit later in the broadcast with guest host Tracy Morgan. (I’ll link to that later!)
Demi’s singing isn’t always on point when she performs live. Maybe she’s nervous when she knows there are not do-overs. But tonight she was pretty near flawless. She looked gorgeous too. Whatever she has been doing lately–work it Demi!
The singer had plenty of sexy self-assurance during her first performance–a medley of the single “Cool For the Summer” and the album title track, “Confident.” But it was her second performance, the ballad “Stone Cold” where she really let loose with some raw emotion. Her vocal wasn’t perfect, but it wobbled in just the right places, making that punch to the gut even harder.
