Houston Texans’ Players Sing With Jordin Sparks At Radio Row – Sparks sang one of her top hits One Step at a Time, which reached number seventeen on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2008. The song also topped out at number three on the Mainstream Top 40 that year. The best part of this has to be the awkward Houston Texans’ players that actually knew some of the words and sang along. Not only did they sing along, but they danced awkwardly behind Sparks as well. – ESPN

Lauren Alaina Reveals Why ‘Three’ Is ‘My Favorite Song I’ve Ever Written’ – “It’s probably my favorite song I’ve ever written,” she says. “I’ve written a lot, but it’s just super personal. I wrote it for my family and for my fans, and for myself. It’s one of those songs where I just talked about what I’ve done over the last six years, and the sacrifices I’ve made to be in this music business, which is crazy and fast-paced, and out of town all the time. In a different hotel every day, and a different city, missing birthdays and missing things with my family. I wanted to write a song to tell them that I’ve missed them too, but I’m right where I’m supposed to be.” – Read more at Taste of Country

Lauren Alaina on Body Image, Self-Esteem and Confident New Album – “Can y’all guess what I was singing?” she asks, popping out the plastic contraption. Alaina’s been known to do this sort of thing on Facebook and Snapchat, where you can often find her singing Black Eyed Peas songs while wearing a unicorn onesie. Since it’s been five years – “five years, three months, 16 days,” as she points out – between the release of her debut album Wildflowers and her new LP Road Less Traveled, she’s had to do a lot to keep the fans interested. “It’s a miracle I kept my record deal that long,” she jokes. In reality, that is a lifetime in the music industry, but time she put to good use to understand herself. – Read more at Rolling Stone

Keith Urban Pulls in $8 Busking – He was singing “Wasted Time,” but by no means was Keith Urban wasting any time. First of all, he earned $8. So that’s not nothing. And he entertained all kinds of people passing by the sidewalk at 5th Avenue and Broadway in Nashville. Urban’s street busking endeavor Wednesday (Feb. 1) outside Legends Corner was not so much a money-making one, but rather a part of a video he was shooting for the upcoming Country Radio Seminar’s New Faces show. – Read more at CMT.com
