Updated with new photo and video!
ETA: David did some co-writing with Savan Kotecha (Adam Lambert’s “If I Had You”) and Andrew Frampton (Natasha Bedingfield). He’s left England and just landed in Stockholm, Sweden. Wonder which pop wizard he’ll be collaborating with there?
See that little spec in a white cap sprinting across the legendary Abbey Road in London? That’s David Cook, currently in the UK to do some songwriting with partners, yet unknown.
“If anyone’s interested, go to abbey road’s website, and check out the webcam. Let me know if you see me, ” tweeted David. A fan did, and screen-capped the above photo
It’s David’s first trip to the UK, and he is pretty damn excited, despite the airlines busting one of his guitars.
He arrived yesterday. “Just landed in London!, ” David tweeted excitedly, ” What should I do while I’m here?”
But then, sadness, “…aaaaand a busted guitar, courtesy of the airline. Flowers would have been a better welcome to England gift, but beggars can’t be choosers.”
The eulogy, “R.I.P. – tobacco-burst Gibson 335 from the Idol tour. Your were the voice of your generation.”
Sniff.
Lots of fun stuff for David on this trip, including spotting Brandon Boyd from Incubus at breakfast, “Kept my composure and left him alone, but instead fanned out into my scrambled eggs…”
More fun from David’s trip, including photos from a sightseeing excursion can be found at his always amusing twitter feed.
I hope David spills more about his UK collaborators…
