David Archuleta heads to India this weekend to help Rising Star Outreach celebrate World Leprosy Day (Jan. 31)
David will travel to a leprosy colony, meet and perform for and with the patients and assist the doctors with their work.
So You Think You Can Dance judge and choreographer, Stacey Tookey, and Broadway performer, Shaun Parry will be choreographing dances for David and the children.
Documentary filmmaker, Doug Jardine, who made the Emmy award winning documentary, Profiles In Caring, about Rising Star Outreach, will film an updated documentary. Jean Shifrin will be photographing the event.
David will also be inaugurating the Pathway of Hope, a granite lined pathway created with motivational inscriptions from fans.
Archuleta fans world-wide have helped raise over $40, 000.00 for several projects on the property of Rising Star Outreach, including the Pathway of Hope.
