Daughtry “Baptized” Set to Move 55-60K First Week

Daughtry’s 4th studio album, Baptized, is predicted to sell 55-60K copies during it’s first week, predicts Hits Daily Double, based on one day sales.

Looks like Eminem will return to #1 next week; as you’ve probably guessed, the Aftermath/Interscope superstar has already crossed the 1 million sales threshold. But let’s talk about this week’s key debuts.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Republic) 60-65k
Daughtry (19/RCA) 55-60k
Yo Gotti (RCA) 40-45k
Nickelback (Roadrunner) 12-15k

Daughtry’s last studio album, Break The Spell, was released on November 21, 2011 and sold 129K during a Black Friday week. The opening numbers have dropeed significantly between albums.
