Danny Gokey was in Uncasville CT Friday night performing at the Mohegan Sun casino’s Wolf Den. While there, he got to catch up with Rascal Flatts and possibly see some of their show backstage in the nearby arena venue. Heading home to Nashville, Danny and band did a matinee show at Rams Head on Stage in Annapolis MD.
The two capacity shows marked the first full band performances for Danny & band since New Year’s Day, and the first road trip for Danny’s new puppy Fozzy who hopped a ride in the tour bus.
Among highlights from the two shows, the Wolf Den crowd gave Danny a standing ovation for I Will Not Say Goodbye, and Danny treated the Rams Head audience to an impromptu cover of Jesus Take the Wheel, not typically part of Danny’s concert set.
