Another day..another Dancing with the Stars injury! This time, it’s Jan Kramer’s pro-partner, Gleb Savchenko. The dancer hurt his knee and has been replaced in rehearsals by Alan Bersten. It’s still uncertain whether Gleb will be healed enough to dance in Monday night’s “Showstopper” themed episode.
“Doctors have advised Gleb to rest his knee,” reads a statement released by DWTS to People magazine. “In the meantime, he is helping Jana as she continues to rehearse for Monday’s show.”
A source tells People there was no major fall or trauma that led to Gleb’s injury but that Alan, a member of the DWTS troupe, began standing in for him in rehearsals Thursday.
“Gleb is still going to rehearsals but Jana is running the routine with Alan,” said the source. “They won’t know until Monday if Gleb will be able to dance on the live show.”
Jana posted the below photo on her twitter account Thursday night.

Gleb responded with a repost and an apology for having to sit out rehearsals.
On Friday Jana posted a photo of herself and Alan, exhausted after a long day of travelling and rehearsal. She mentions, “Still not sure” about Gleb and whether he’ll be back on Monday.
IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe performed with pro Jenna Johnson last Monday after his original partner, Sharna Burgess, suffered a knee injury in rehearsal the week before. It is still unclear if Sharna will be able to dance on Monday.
Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
