Hey! I’ve got a slew of Dancing with the Stars season 23 spoilers for you here.
According to E! News, Olympic champion, Simone Biles, is “poised to sign on for the upcoming season.” Apparently, US gymnasts are set for a 35 city tour this fall, so we’ll see if that happens. Simone won four gold medals and a bronze at the Rio Olympics.
Also set to join the DWTS 23 cast, according to E! are Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher who has actually gone on record saying she’d love to dance this season, and former Disney star, Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place, The Fosters).
Also, US magazine revealed that Allison Holker will be slipping on her high heels for season 23 after taking a cycle off to have a baby. She and her fellow So You Think You Can Dance alum Stephen “tWitch” Boss welcomed their first child, son Maddox Laurel, on March 27, 2016. The couple married in December 2013 after first meeting as all-stars on SYTYCD season 7 in 2010.
Also joining Allison on the dance floor will be Gleb Savchenko. In his sole US appearance, the Russian dancer was partnered with Lisa Vanderpump in season 16. However, he’s been a regular on the original British version, BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Reports say Gleb was offered a ton of money to move his family to Los Angeles to participate in the show.
Also set as pro partners for the new season are Val Chmerkovskiy, Mark Ballas, Artem Chigvintsev, Sasha Farber, Sharna Burgess, and Witney Carson.
The full season 23 cast will be announced on Good Morning America Tuesday, August 30. Dancing With the Stars season 23 premieres on ABC Monday, September 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
UPDATE: In an interview with E! news, Simone Biles says she would love to compete on Dancing with the Stars, but her schedule may not permit it for the fall.
“I would love to do Dancing with the Stars, but so far we have a three month tour after this Olympics,” Simone said. “I’m not sure if I’ll have time.”
“I would really love to do it in the spring if that’s possible,” she added
