AMERICA’S FAVORITE NIGHT RETURNS TO THE BALLROOM AS NINE REMAINING COUPLES COMPETE DURING HIGHLY ANTICIPATED “DISNEY NIGHT” ON “DANCING WITH THE STARS,” MONDAY, APRIL 13

Featuring a Spectacular Opening Number with Live Action & Animated Characters

“Episode 2005” – “Dancing with the Stars” marks the halfway point of the competition with its biggest show yet, “Disney Night,” with all new celebrity performances MONDAY, APRIL 13 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The show will begin with an opening number featuring all your favorite live action and animated Disney characters dancing with the entire cast.   Each couple will then perform to songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios films including “Aladdin,” “Mary Poppins,” “The Little Mermaid” and “Frozen.” The evening will also showcase fun and exciting animated elements of Disney animation, with nods to memorable moments from Disney films. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy will be kicking up their dancing shoes throughout the show. One couple will face elimination at the end of the night.

Each couple will be dancing to the following songs (in alphabetical order):

  • Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess: “A Whole New World” from Aladdin – Foxtrot
  • Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson: “Step In Time” from Mary Poppins – Quickstep
  • Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev: “When You Wish Upon A Star” from Pinocchio – Waltz (?)
  • Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough: “Love Is An Open Door” from Frozen – Jazz
  • Riker Lynch and Allison Holker: “He’s A Pirate” from Pirates of the Caribbean – Paso Doble
  • Willow Shields and Mark Ballas: “Alice’s Theme” from Alice In Wonderland  – Viennese waltz (?)
  • Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani: “He’s A Tramp” from Lady and the Tramp  – Jazz
  • Chris Soules and Witney Carson: “Zero to Hero” from Hercules – Quickstep
  • Rumer Willis partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy: “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid Tango or Samba (?)

“Dancing with the Stars” features Julianne Hough, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba at the judges table and is hosted by Emmy® Award-winning host Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Erin Andrews (sports host & “Dancing with the Stars” Season 10 finalist).

Dancing with the Stars: Live!is going back on the road giving fans the opportunity to see their favorite stars dance live in their hometowns. Hosted by Dancing with the Stars All-Stars champion Melissa Rycroft, the ‘Perfect Ten Tour’ is bringing a one-of-a-kind touring production to more than 40 cities across America starting June 13 and run through August 11. The tour includes pro dancers Witney Carson, Valentin Chmerkovskiy, Artem Chigvintsev, Peta Murgatroyd, Emma Slater, and troupe dancers Alan Bersten, Brittany Cherry, Sasha Farber and Jenna Johnson. The dancers are unleashed in the 90-minute action packed live show, treating audiences to exciting and romantic performances, from choreography never before seen on the show, to some of the most memorable numbers from all ten years of Dancing with the Stars.
