Cortez Shaw’s voice is much higher than the typical male contestants, and that could make him stand out. He needs to work on his breath control, and he tends to oversing, but I think he has potential to be an interesting contestant. It depends on the choices he makes on the show. Will he try to go for a more modern urban sound, or the more standard R&B we hear on idol?
