Does anybody even care anymore about whom Simon Cowell will sign on for his X Factor on air cast? I thought so, but I’m posting the news anyway.
EW reports that High School Musical actor-singer Corbin Bleu is close to joining the competition series as co-host, alongside previously reported co-host finalist, Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.
What an exciting duo…zzzzzz.
Sources emphasize that neither Bleu or Scherzinger are locked in, but both are close to signing on with the series.
As for the rest of the team, EW has also been hearing what Deadline reported–that the rest of the cast will be filled out with L.A. Reid (who is confirmed), along with Cheryl Cole and Paula Abdul, who will be joining Simon Cowell on the judges’ panel.
The production begins shooting the audition rounds before the judges on May 8.
