Concert Schedule – 10/13/14 & 10/14/14

Today it’s a Monday holiday in both the US and Canada (Columbus Day and Thanksgiving, respectively). Happy holidays to those who celebrate!

Jena Irene will be celebrating her Italian heritage at the Columbus Day Parade in New York City, where she has been invited to perform. David Cook will have the honor of performing the National Anthem in his hometown of St. Louis, MO before the Major League Baseball American League Championship Series between the Kansas City Royals and Baltimore Orioles. The game airs on TBS at 8 pm EDT. I’d tune in a little earlier just to make sure you don’t miss it!

  1. MJ – David Cook is singing the NA at the Royals’ game in Kansas City — not St. Louis

  2. The Swon Brothers were on the Today show this morning for some album release promotion.

  3. Adam Lambert is performing tonight at an invitation-only concert (about 400 people) for the AT&T Live Proud Finale. Event starts at 6:30PM and there are a lot of awards. Adam is scheduled to perform at 9:00PM.

Details of the event have not been released except that Adam is performing and there will be a big AT&T check.

    Possible Live Streams:

This is Adam’s first solo performance since New Years Eve 2013 excluding two private parties, one of which shared video. Tickets for tonight’s event went to LGBTQ advocates and supporters, and people who entered the AT&T Live Proud contest.

  4. Who was the spokesperson/representative for this last year? Is this a one-year commitment?

  5. Adam was also the AT&T Live Proud spokesperson last year for this campaign. Last year’s concert and grand finale was in Los Angeles in July after the end of Pride month (June).

This year they extended it to October to coincide with Spirit Day which is this week on October 16th.

  6. Thank you.

I think Adam is the perfect spokesperson for this. He has been out and proud from the start of his career. He has always been true to himself, even when his mother told him to tone it down for AI. What you see is what you get. At first some of the gay community didn’t approve of him (not sure if it had anything to do with him wearing makeup??), but now more and more of the the youngsters are saying Adam has been their inspiration. They finally have someone they can look up to. As Adam has said many times, the closest he had when he was young was “Will and Grace”.

  7. new show for Kris in January:

#JUST ANNOUNCED! Jan 17 @KrisAllen from @AmericanIdol coming to @HighDiveGville Tix on sale now @TicketWeb

  8. Very important and worthwhile event. Glad that Adam was able to lend his visibility and talent to help encourage others. And bravo to AT&T for knowing the importance to so many young people.

  9. The AT&T Live Proud Event stage is set up — there are two stool/chairs and an acoustic guitar. Looks like attendees are in for a great night tonight. There will be excellent videos of the event and multiple live streamers.

Adam went shopping in Tribeca (lots of media coverage) and then did a rehearsal which finished at 5:30PM.

In something only Adam fans probably care about, gunmetal nail polish is back.

  10. Looks like it will be a very nice event. The more support that is shown the better. And yey for the Pope encouraging people to be more accepting of the gay community.

  11. VIKTOR LUNA ?@viktorluna
Can’t wait to be at the AT&T Live Proud in support if the LGBT community with the one and only @adamlambert ! SO EXCITED
    Manhattan, NY

He was one of the contestants on Project Runway when Adam was a judge. He, in fact, won the challenge that week. He went to “Fashion Week” and came in third place.

  12. Very, very nice, but he is still wearing a hat. I hope we get to see his blond bangs during his performance.

  13. Adam, of course, sounded great. Looked cute with the hat, but still wanted to see the entire head of hair. Oh well.

  14. The Royals game was cancelled, David Cook tweeted he will be singing on Wednesday’s game instead.

  15. Two Queen songs.

Crazy Little Thing Love, Outlaws of Love, Trespassing, Another One Bites The Dust, Whataya Want From Me.

  16. Very nice. Even accompanied with only a guitar, Adam’s voice, charisma, emotion and stage presence are still shinning thru. I like the part where he said this campaign offers a chance for LGBT to have a voice and be heard. Good job Adam!
