Coldplay’s mashup of Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab”/”Fix You” last night during their encore at UCLA’s LA Tennis Center, is lovely, but is like an exercise in denial. First, there’s the refusal to help yourself, followed by loved ones who think they can fix you. So bittersweet.
In other news, Tony Bennett announced on the Today show this morning that “Body and Soul” his duet with Winehouse, from his upcoming duets album, will be released as a charity single to benefit the foundation the late singer’s father started in the wake of her death.
