CMA will host CMA Summer Jam, a brand new, two-night summer concert experience live from Nashville’s open-air Ascend Amphitheater Tuesday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 28. Featuring performances and collaborations from Country Music’s hottest stars, the live event will also be filmed as part of a three-hour primetime television special airing later this summer on ABC.

Before the pandemic, ABC would air a special in late summer or fall featuring the best of the CMA Festival. But since the Country Music Association cancelled the huge festival two years in a row, and COVID restrictions are finally lifting, a scaled down concert event will do for now.

In the meantime, a TON of our favorite singing show alums, including Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Jimmie Allen, Mickey Guyton and more are set for the special. American Idol judge Luke Bryan and The Voice’s Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will also perform.
