Build up for Wednesday’s CMA Awards (8 PM Eastern on ABC) continues with more Idol radio interviews. CMA Awards Co-Host Carrie Underwood interviewed with Ryan Seacrest this morning and talked about hosting the show (she says she learned everything she knows about hosting from him!), Soul Surfer, and “Mama’s Song” which she will be performing tomorrow with her own mom in attendance.

Access Hollywood is reporting that in addition to performing “Mama’s Song” Carrie will open the CMA Awards joined by Keith Urban and Brad Paisley in a performance of “Songs Like This” from Carrie’s album Play On. That’s what they’re rehearsing in the above picture. Keith Urban’s bassist Jerry Flowers cowrote the song.

The CMA Awards air tomorrow on ABC at 8 PM Eastern. Check back for our live blog which will have comments, red carpet and performance pictures, and video of all the Idols!

After the jump, check out audio and video interviews with country radio DJs featuring Bo Bice, Danny Gokey, Josh Gracin, and Casey James plus the Carrie interview with Ryan Seacrest.
