My attempt to record CJ Harris’ Live with Kelly and Michael performance this morning was, unfortunately, a giant FAIL. Too bad, because his acoustic performance of John Mayer’s “Gravity” was full of the soul and passion we’ve come to expect from the Alabama singer.
After waiting all day for something to pop up online, I eventually found a low quality version, recorded off a television. It’s worth posting, I think, because it illustrates how much CJ’s singing improves when it’s just him and his acoustic guitar.
I wonder if the band throws CJ’s pitch off? In an interview with TV Line today, he said he was unaccustomed to singing with a full band, and is still learning.
