Chris Young had a No. 1 hit, “Think of You” with The Voice season 4 winner Cassadee Pope a few years ago. Will the country singer be able to make the same magic with American Idol season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina?
The singer has released their collaboration “Town Ain’t Big Enough.” It’s a break up song, about the pain of seeing an ex around in all the familiar places, with all the same friends. “Wish that we could draw a line through the city/cause seeing those two blue eyes so pretty/messes me up like it always does,” sings Chris while Lauren describes a new routine for going out with friends: “I pray the whole time that I won’t see your smile.”

Chris, an alum of the competitive reality show Nashville Star, co-wrote the song with Cary Barlowe, Corey Crowder, and Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney (he sings background vocals). The cut is from Chris’s forthcoming studio album.
The duo debuted the song during the CMA festival in June. Lauren posted a short clip on social media of that moment.
