American Idol rockers David Cook (S7 winner) and Chris Daughtry (S5) joined forces on Saturday (June 2) to sing a duet. It all went down during the Celebrity Auction at Midland Theater for the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend benefiting Children’s Mercy Hospital of Kansas City.
The two singers performed a couple of classics: “Won’t Back Down” from Tom Petty and “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac.
The weekend of events, which featured a slew of celebrities like Eric Stonestreet, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Al Roker, Angela Kinsey, Chris Harrison, Hilarie Burton, Jake Tapper, Michael Ian Black, Taran Killam and more, raised more than 2 million dollars for Children’s Mercy Hospital.
