Cheyenne Jackson Joins the Cast of Glee as the New Vocal Adrenaline Coach

More Glee casting news!

Cheyenne Jackson from 30 Rock will be joining the cast of Glee in what Entertainment Weekly is calling “a major recurring role.”

Jackson, late of the Broadway musical Xanadu, will be the NEW coach of the rival glee club, Vocal Adrenaline.

Although Idina Menzel’s character has stepped down as Vocal Adrenaline’s coach, she’ll still make a few appearances next season. After all, she did adopt Quinn and Puck’s baby and is Rachel’s biological mom.  The divine Kristin Chenoweth is also expected to make a return.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that actor/musician Chord Overstreet would join the cast as a Finn rival, and Dot Jones as a new McKinley High football coach.

Other Season 2 guest stars will include singer Charice, playing an exchange student and rival to Lea Michele (Rachel) and John Stamos, who will portray a dentist and potential love interest for Jayma Mays (Emma).
