CBS announced it’s 2022 Fall 2022 primetime schedule today (May 18) ahead of the network’s Upfronts presentation to advertisers in New York City.
Two iconic reality series air on Wednesday nights. The groundbreaking hit series Survivor, hosted by Jeff Probst, kicks off the night at 8:00 PM. At 9:00 PM, the globe-trotting, Emmy Award-winning The Amazing Race hosted by Phil Keoghan returns.
The Amazing Race took a long hiatus during the COVID pandemic. Restrictions interrupted taping of the 33rd season, but picked up again a year later. The season finally aired mid-season 2022. But CBS is making up for lost time by bringing the series back again this fall.
Survivor returns to CBS for its 43rd season this fall.
In addition to CBS’ new and returning series, its year-round schedule of original programming also features annual marquee events, including the GRAMMY Awards, the CMT Music Awards, Kennedy Center Honors, and the Tony Awards.
