CBS Reveals Mid-Season Reality Schedule: World's Best, Survivor, TAR

CBS Television network announced on Tuesday (Nov 27) it’s midseason slate of reality shows.

New competition reality show, The World’s Best, will premiere right after the Super Bowl on February 3 before it moves to a regular Wednesday night slot at 8 pm. It appears, according to the schedule below, that CBS airs the last episode of The World’s Best on Wednesday March 20.

The World’s Best features host James Corden and judges Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Charles and Faith Hill. The first-of-its-kind global talent competition features award-winning acts from every genre imaginable, from every corner of the planet.

They not only have to impress the aforementioned American judges, but will also need to break through the “wall of the world,” featuring 50 of the world’s most accomplished experts from every field of entertainment. Only one act will ultimately be crowned The World’s Best.

The 38th season of Survivor bows on Wednesday March 20 with returning host, Jeff Probst.

And The Amazing Race returns this summer on Wednesday, May 22 for its 31st season with host Phil Keoghan, following the wrap of Survivor ’s season. The Amazing Race will feature a reality clash when fierce competitors from The Amazing Race, Big Brother and Survivor race around the world for the $1 million prize.

Celebrity Big Brother returns for a second season. There were questions around whether Julie Chen would leave CBS altogether after her husband, Les Moonves, was ousted as CBS chief due to a MeToo scandal. But she’s back as host, which is a good sign she’ll return for the summer season as well.
