The Voice makes no bones about the fact that many of their contestants have been struggling in the music business for years. Javier Colon, who was crowned winner of the NBC competition reality show last night, is exhibit A.

Noooooo!!! Train!!! NOOO! Heh. Today’s The Voice press release announces the special guests set to sing duets with the 4 finalists on tomorrow’s finale (8/7c pm NBC).

Stevie Nicks will pair with Javier Colon, Pat Monahan with Vicci Martinez (hopefully she won’t have to sing about blowjobs), Ryan Tedder with Beverly McClellan (What? She’ll blow poor little Tedder right off the stage. MISMATCH!). Mrs. Blake Shelton, aka Miranda Lambert pairs up with Dia Frampton.

In the latest press release for The Voice announcing yet MORE performances from the competition reality show’s all-star judges, the 4 contestants who are actually COMPETING in this week’s final shows (Set to air Tuesday and Wednesday at 9 pm on NBC) are mentioned at the end, almost as an afterthought.

All of these announced performances–from the coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton, guest stars Ne-Yo, Pitbull and Brad Paisley will happen on the PERFORMANCE episode. Oh, and btw? There will be a few contestants competing. Not that it matters, right?

Three members of the The Voice Top 4, Vicci Martinez, Javier Colon and Dia Frampton took a minute out of their hectic schedules to chat with the Today Show this morning.
