Worldwide pop star, Kylie Minogue, will be joining The Voice UK as host. She takes the place of Jessie J. who has gone back to her singing career. From The Voice UK blog: Kylie Minogue,

The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue totally shaded last year’s winner of The Voice UK, Leanne Mitchell, blaming her for the failure of her debut album on the charts. It only sold 500 copies!

Danny O’Donohue (The Script), Jesse J, Tom Jones and will.i.am are back for another season of The Voice UK.

Season 2 premiered on the BBC last night. Check out the performances. What do you think? Anybody catch your fancy?

The Voice UK winner, Leanne Mitchell won’t be belting out the big notes in front of live audiences any time soon. According to the Daily Mail, The Voice UK tour has been cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

Leanne Mitchell of Team Tom Jones, was crowned the Voice UK winner after a performance of a song that has become a singing competition reality show staple–“It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World”.

I stopped following the Voice UK, because, quite frankly, I got bored with it. But obviously, watching Tyler James literally butcher “Bohemian Rhapsody”, we aren’t missing much. Is he drunk? How many keys do you figure he’s singing here?

VIDEO: It’s Battle Round Weekend on The Voice UK. Tonight and tomorrow night team members will compete against each other in duets. After, their coach will pick a winner to advance on to the next round.

The VoiceUK week 4 marks the end of the blind auditions. This final week of auditions includes the teenaged twins, Indie and Pixie, whose version of P!nk’s Perfect had all 4 coaches turning their chairs. Am I the only one who doesn’t get it?
