The Sing-Off

Live blogging the Sing-Out Top 10. All the remaining groups perform on the same stage tonight!

Best groups tonight are easy to pick: the Yellow Jackets not only thoroughly understood the concept of “Guilty Pleasure” with their campy and fun version of “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls, but they sounded totally awesome while doing it. Also totally fantastic, were Pentatonix, space-aged rendition of “Video Killed the Radio Star” featured futuristic fun along with tight vocals.

Entertainment Weekly has this week’s The Sing-Off song spoilers. Tonight’s theme is “Guilty Pleasures”. Keep in mind, the concept of “Guilty Pleasure” is subjective….hm.

The 2nd set of 6 contestants perform “Rhythm of Love, ” by the Plain White T’s. That was very chipper!

The 2nd bracket of 8 groups perform Top 40 and Songs from the 60’s tonight on The Sing-Off. The show features tunes from Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Jackson 5, Ke$ha and The Who!

Kinfolk 9 are eliminated

Another awesome night of singing from The Sing-Off! Each of the 6 groups had at least one shining moment. It’s a real testament to how great the talent is on The Sing-Off, that it’s only Week 3 and there’s no more cannon fodder to waste.

The Sing-Off is so good, I wish more viewers were tuning in to watch. This week, Adam Lambert’s “Whataya Want From Me” will be covered by Delilah, who have an excellent chance to win.

This all-girl group killed in their bracket a couple of weeks ago when they took on “Grenade” by Bruno Mars.
